Although only one in three people with lupus acts, the most common skin problem associated with the disease, a rash shaped butterfly (malar rash) that develops in the cheeks and nose. A skin rash can be flat or raised cheekbone and May are full or red patches in the affected areas. Some people with lupus develop skin lesions (), subacute cutaneous lesions, which, like pimples at first, but eventually turn scaly and itchy, while other large, flat, itchy lesions with clear centers. Both types of lesions usually appear after exposure to sunlight. Still others develop a clear, red, raised rash (discoid rash) on face, neck, chest or scalp. A disk-shaped rash is usually thick and scaly scars last May, days or years, and often leaves hypopigmented or hyperpigmentation. This outbreak is the only symptom in people with the discoid form of lupus. In a small percentage of cases, people with lupus may develop a mild version of SLE.

(SLE) is a complex and often difficult to diagnose disease. It is also very rare. The butterfly rash is only in a minority of people who present the disease. The most important thing is not the type of eruption is underway, but someone who is able to see the disease and the treatment gining corrent diagnosis. It can be diagnosed with a single outbreak andd there are a number of enabling conditions, the eruptions, which are very similar to ERP.

The rash may be different from another person to person, but the main symptoms of malar rash or butterfly rash are:
Red butterfly-rash spreads over the bridge of the nose and cheeks. The rash can be flat or raised. The malar rash usually appears or worsens after sun exposure or stress that an increase in blood flow to the skin caused.

There are also DLE DLE or the type of lupus itself. This affects the skin of patients. The symptoms are:
The lesions are usually flat or swollen, red, with defined borders and may itch.
Often, scarring, and larger lesions (small lesions can grow) to do together very disfiguring.
The sun-exposed areas are most affected: face, ears, scalp, the "V" neck and upper side of the forearm.
Lupus seem similar to lesions of the skin, eg, rosacea, fungal infections, sarcoidosis, seborrhea, dermatomyositis.

Even if you think you have lupus, you should consult a doctor and ask to be tested.

NOT is all skin problems and joint aches and pains.

My husband was two years ago with the diagnosis involovement severe kidney and blood. Until then, I had no signs or symptoms. Now you have problems with your skin, but because the medications that you are not in control of their lupus jpint pain, but severe tiredness.

Hope this helps.
